AMERICAN POLITICAL DISPENSATION

The much awaited second Obama-Mccaine Presidental debate this morning offered nothing but the same old rhetoric.It can however be distinctively noted that neither candidate brought anything new to take probable and potential voters' breath away.Hence the quench of some undecided voters remain in the balance as the race comes to a close in the next four weeks.John Mccain's demise has further been compounded by the recent wall street financial debacle.It is for this reason that the Republican party finds its self on the cliff hanger.From the Iraq war,which is close to USD700billion in operational expenditure to the receding efforts in the restoration of tranquility in Afghanistan.A Vietnam war veterian,an accomplished congressman and a distinguished political career might not be enough to win John Mccain voters,as USA struggles now desperately to keep its economy and military power intact.Obama an articulate scholar,and relatively inexperienced Chicago orator but possessing the charisma and appeal of a season political boffin,could be too risky a candidate of choice for the American people.Revelations of his associations with Rev Wright,a bitter pastor who uses his pulpit to announce rather renounce hatred,might still cost Obama a bed in the White house.The question most radicals have been asking is, should they risk with Obama or continue with Mccain's-Bush ideologies?To some Obama represents absolute hope and to some Mccain represents political secuty and power.Mccain is 71 and a suspiciously ailing health to consider.In contrast Obama is young and vibrant but will his colour deviate potential voters.Race issues,are taboo points of discussion within the context of the American perception,could be major stumbling blocks for progressive political growth.Neutrals would prefer John Mccain to be commander in chief,whilst Obama plays the public and international relations,vice-president post.This is just as unlikely to happen ,just as Osama Bin Laden handing himself to be tried for cases of mass destruction.For now we will wait in the peripheries and see
